KONSTNÄRSRESIDENS Boy konsthall

Residens 4 mars - 23 mars Utställning 23 mars - 20 april

Boy konsthall söker en konstnär eller konstnärsduo/grupp som vill arbeta på plats i Bollebygd i mars. Vi söker konstnärer inom alla uttryck - teater, performance, ljud, bildkonst, material- eller idébaserat.

Boy konsthall är ett rum för samtidskonst i Bollebygd. Sedan 2017 har vi här arrangerat utställningar, residensvistelser, huserat en småskalig konsthantverksbutik och skapat förutsättningar för konsten att utmana, beröra och engagera, för att skapa rörelser som vidgar vår upplevelsehorisont. Boy konsthall drivs av scen- och konstkompaniet Teater Nu.

Bollebygd är en kommun med ca 9700 invånare, belägen ca 4 mil från Göteborg och 2 mil från Borås. 

Information om residenset:

• Residensperiod sker 4 - 24 mars, det går att välja hela perioden eller delar av den. 

• Du/ni arbetar på plats under residensperioden och presenterar sedan ditt/ert arbete i en offentlig utställning eller processpresentation i konsthallen. Eventuell utställning sker 23 mars - 20 april. 

• Boy konsthall används som ateljéplats under perioden. Lokalen är på 47 kvm. Pentry, toalett och wifi finns. 

• Boende i lägenhet i Bollebygds centrum.

• Konstnären erhåller arvode om 10 000 kr (exkl moms) och materialersättning på upp till 5 000 kr.* 

• Resor till och från residenset ersätts upp till 2000 kr

• Utställningsersättning enligt MU-avtal**

• Inga måltider ingår. 

Vi önskar att konstnären/konstnärerna:

• Håller öppen ateljé under 1-2 tillfällen under residensperioden

• Medverkar i ett konstnärssamtal

Boy konsthall assisterar konstnären/konstnärerna med planering, kontakter och koordinering.

Boy konsthall is looking for an artist or artist duo/group who wants to work on location in Bollebygd in March. We are looking for artists in all forms of expression - theater, performance, sound, visual arts, material or idea-based.

Boy konsthall is a space for contemporary art in Bollebygd. Since 2017, we have arranged exhibitions, residencies, housed a small-scale arts and crafts shop and created conditions for art to challenge, touch and engage, to create movements that broaden our horizons. Boy konsthall is run by the performing arts company Teater Nu.

Bollebygd is a municipality with about 9,700 inhabitants, located about 4 miles from Gothenburg and 2 miles from Borås.

Information about the residence:

• Residency period takes place 4 - 24 March, it is possible to choose the whole period or parts of it.

• You work on site during the residency period and then present your work in a public exhibition or process presentation in the gallery. Exhibition period: March 23 - April 20.

• Boy konsthall can be used as a studio space during the period. The space is 47 square meters. Kitchenette, toilet and wifi available.

• Housing provided in an apartment in the center of Bollebygd.

• The artist receives a fee of SEK 10,000 (excl. VAT) and material compensation of up to SEK 5,000.*

• Travel to and from the residence is reimbursed up to SEK 2,000

• Exhibition compensation according to MU agreement**

• No meals included.

We wish that you:

Holds an open studio session for 1-2 times during the residency period

Participates in an artist talk

Boy konsthall will assist you with planning, contacts and coordination.

Send your application to boykonsthall@teaternu.se. Mark your application with "APPLICATION RESIDENCE" and describe your idea together with CV and artist presentation. Also state if you have any wishes regarding the length of the residency period. The application deadline is January 31.
