Stefan Ostojić gästar Teater Nu:s minifestival Crossing Stages med en workshop i clownteknik den 14 maj på Scen 46.

Stefan är en professionell skådespelare och clown från Serbien. Han har bakgrund i klassiskt skådespeleri men har hittat hem i clowntekniken, där han hittat en frihet i sitt sceniska uttryck och en möjlighet att berätta historier med hjälp av humor. Som del i sin konstnärliga praktik reser han runt med cykel, mellan byar och länder, och spelar föreställningar.

Under workshopen får du som deltagare utforska grundläggande clownteknik, fysisk gestaltning och publikkontakt genom praktiska övningar. Fokus ligger på närvaro och lekfullhet.

”Är det möjligt att kommunicera med en publik enbart genom din närvaro? Hur mycket krävs för att plantera en tanke i publikens medvetande? Vi kommer att utforska dessa frågor genom clownens uttryck. Att hitta frihet i det egna uttrycket. Vi kommer att röra oss långt bort från ‘method acting’ och ‘karaktärsarbete’, men samtidigt komma väldigt nära.” – Stefan Ostojić

Workshopen är på fortsättningsnivå. Tidigare erfarenhet av skådespeleri, dans eller liknande krävs, men ingen tidigare erfarenhet av clownteknik är nödvändig.

ENG: WORKSHOP WITH STEFAN OSTOJIĆ 

We are pleased to invite Stefan Ostojić for a workshop in clown technique.

Stefan is a professional actor and clown from Serbia. With a foundation in classical acting, he turned to clown to explore freedom of expression on stage and to tell stories through pure comedy. He travels by bicycle, performing shows in villages as part of his artistic practice.

In this workshop, participants will explore fundamental clown techniques, physical expression, and audience connection through practical exercises. The focus is on presence and playfulness.

“Is it possible to communicate with an audience using only your presence? What is the exact amount of effort needed to plant a thought in the audience’s mind? We will explore those questions through the medium of the clown. Finding freedom in self-expression. We will go far away from "method acting" and "character work" but ever so close.” – Stefan Ostojić

The workshop is on an intermediate level. Prior experience in acting, dance, or related fields is required, but no previous experience with clown is necessary.
