Teater Nu bjuder in till Crossing Stages, en internationell minifestival där både publik och scenkonstnärer möts kring samtida scenkonst, samskapande och internationella samarbeten. Festivalen äger rum på Scen 46 i Göteborg den 13 - 14 maj.

Vi presenterar två Sverigepremiärer – The Mousetrap Story (Teater Mladih Mišolovka, Serbien) och vår egen samproduktion The Hour at the Bottom (Teater Nu, Sverige & MALTE, Italien). Båda produktionerna har blivit till som en del av det europeiska samarbetsprojektet TESTART.

Föreställningen The Mousetrap Story lyfter personliga erfarenheter av hur det är att vara ung och särskilt hur det är att vara en ung konstnär i Serbien idag. Föreställningen blandar skuggteater, dans och improvisation. På scenen ser vi Petra Protić, Emilija Vasović och Vasilije Zečević. Föreställningen är regisserad av Ibro Sakić. Läs mer om föreställningen här!

The Hour at the Bottom är en lekfull föreställning om något så allvarligt som människans villkor. Föreställningen är samskriven av Sonia Antinori (Italien) och Matilda Klamas (Sverige). Det är ett konstnärligt samarbete som utforskar tidens oundvikliga gång, viljan att göra avtryck och modet att kunna blicka in i tomheten utan att blinka. Läs mer om föreställningen här!

Den första dagen avslutas med ett panelsamtal: Crossing Practices, där de inbjudna scenkonstnärerna samtalar om att arbeta över nationsgränser och vad som händer när olika konstnärliga praktiker möts. 

Under dag två har vi bjudit in skådespelaren Stefan Ostojić, som har en konstnärlig förankring både i Novi Sad och Göteborg, till att hålla en workshop i clownteknik. Fokus ligger på närvaro, lekfullhet och sceniskt mod. Mer information hittar du här.

Dag två avslutas med fika och efterhäng.

ENG: CROSSING STAGES

Teater Nu invites you to Crossing Stages, an international mini festival where audiences and performing artists come together around contemporary performing arts, co-creation, and international collaboration.

We present two Swedish premieres – The Mousetrap Story (Teatar Mladih Mišolovka, Serbia) and our own co-production The Hour at the Bottom (Teater Nu, Sweden & MALTE, Italy). Both productions have been created as part of the European collaboration project TESTART.

The Mousetrap Story highlights personal experiences of being young, and in particular what it means to be a young artist in Serbia today. The performance combines shadow theatre, dance, and improvisation. On stage we see Petra Protić, Emilija Vasović, and Vasilije Zečević. The performance is directed by Ibro Sakić. The Hour at the Bottom is a playful show about something as serious as the human condition. It is co-written by Sonia Antinori (Italy) and Matilda Klamas (Sweden). This artistic collaboration explores the inevitable progression of time, the struggle to make an impact and the courage to stare into the void without batting an eye. The first day ends with a panel discussion, Crossing Practices, where the invited performing artists discuss working across national borders and what happens when different artistic practices meet.

On the second day, we welcome actor Stefan Ostojić, who has an artistic base in both Novi Sad and Gothenburg, to lead a workshop in clown technique. The focus is on presence, playfulness, and stage courage. Read more about the workshop here.
